State School’s Relief

Furlong Park School for Deaf Children works closely with State Schools’ Relief (SSR) to support students who may need assistance with school clothing, footwear and other essential items. SSR is a not‑for‑profit organisation that helps ensure all Victorian students can attend school with comfort, confidence and dignity, regardless of their circumstances.

Through this partnership, eligible families can receive support for items such as school uniforms, shoes and other necessities required for learning and participation. Applications are made through the school’s office, who work sensitively with families to identify needs and organise assistance.

State Schools’ Relief plays an important role in reducing financial barriers and supporting student wellbeing, ensuring that every child is equipped for school and able to fully engage in their learning.
