Smile Squad – Dentist

Furlong Park School for Deaf Children is supported by the Smile Squad program, Victoria’s free school dental initiative. The Smile Squad dental van visits our school to provide onsite oral health care for students, helping to ensure every child has access to high‑quality dental services without families needing to travel or arrange external appointments.

During each visit, Smile Squad dental professionals offer a range of services such as dental checks, teeth cleaning, fluoride treatments and follow‑up care where needed. Families receive reports after visits, and referrals are made if any additional treatment is required outside the school setting.

The Smile Squad program helps promote good oral health habits, supports early detection of dental needs and ensures students can learn and participate with healthy, confident smiles.
