Enrolment

Furlong Park School for Deaf Children provides educational programs for children aged 3 years old through to the end of Year 6. To begin in our Early Education Program, children must turn 3 years old by 30 April of the year they start.

Enrolment is based on the Department of Education’s eligibility criteria, which require students to have a permanent, bilateral hearing loss of at least 40dB across three frequencies.

All enrolments require approval from the Department of Education’s Regional Office. Families interested in enrolling are encouraged to contact the school to arrange a meeting with the Principal, who can provide information about eligibility, the enrolment process and available programs.
