Hearing Australia Visits
Audiologists from Hearing Australia visit Furlong Park School for Deaf Children twice each term to check and maintain students’ hearing devices. During these visits, audiologists ensure that devices such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and assistive listening technology are working effectively and providing students with the best possible access to sound in the classroom.
If further work, repairs or follow‑up appointments are needed, the audiologist will communicate this to families through the student’s teacher. This partnership helps ensure that every child’s listening technology remains in good working order and continues to support their learning each day.
