Attendance

Regular attendance plays an important role in supporting each student’s learning, development and overall wellbeing at Furlong Park School for Deaf Children.

Being at school every day helps students stay connected to their learning, build positive relationships and take full advantage of the programs and support available. When a student is absent due to illness, appointments or other approved reasons, families are asked to record the absence through the Compass app.

Timely communication ensures our attendance records remain accurate and allows us to provide appropriate support to each student. Continuous attendance, wherever possible, helps create consistency, routine and strong educational outcomes for all learners.
